The synthetic paint brush use genuine solid round tapered (SRT) filaments, these are thicker at their base and gradually become thinner towards the tip ensuring excellent paint pickup with gradual and even paint release over a greater area.
we offers excellent performance with oil (solvent-borne) coatings, and simply can't be beaten when used with emulsion and acrylic (water-borne) coatings including varnishes, woodstains and lacquers.
Plain unvarnished hardwood beavertail handle. Genuine polished stainless steel (rust resistant) ferrule and fixings. Twin wooden spacers below the ferrule create a reservoir within the bevelled edge brush head for maximum paint pick-up and release. Selected filaments give just the right amount of flex and stiffness, and are of differing lengths for more even paint coverage. The filament ends are tipped and flagged to give the brush an even softer, satin smooth feel which leaves little in the way of brush marks. After use they are easy to clean and should be replaced in the 'keep' provided with each brush.
We've had this paint brush on test for a while with our decorators and the feedback has been fantastic! Professional synthetic SRT filament brushes usually cost an arm and a leg, but not any more this brush is less than a third of the price of its closest competitor!
