I. Application range:

YT28 air-leg rock drill is a novel and highly efficient rock drilling machine. The drill is widely applied to excavating tunnels in mines and drilling blast holes in rock drilling operations and is an important machine tool necessary to metallurgy industry, coal industry, constructions of railways, transportation and water conservancy and national defense stone work.

YT28 rock drill has a rather wide application range, most applicable to drilling horizontal and inclined blast holes on medium-hard or hard (f=8-18) rocks and can also applied to vertically drilling bolt holes on roofs. The diameter of a blast hole is 34-42mm generally and the effective drilling depth can be up to 5 meters. The machine can be used together with FT160BD short air-leg or FT160BC long air-leg according to the size of the tunnel section and also be installed on trolleys or scaffoldings to operate.

The drill is equipped with an FY200B oil lubricator with transparent case, which is convenient for observing oil level and regulating oil capacity, thereby ensuring good lubrication.
