Product description:

Drag bits also named blade bits, with a TC inserts on the blades.

They are usually designed for use in soft formations such as sand, clay, or some soft rock.

Their uses include drilling water wells, mining, geothermal, environmental and exploration drilling.

Whenever possible, they should be used to drill pilot holes, for they produce cuttings that are easiest to log.

Usually drag bits are three wings, while sometime people need four wings or five wings.

Usage caution and maintenance:

1.Select the suitable No. of chain links according to various type of pipes or drill tools before the operation.

2.Whether the connecting pins and the split cotters are good or not should be checked before the operation.

3. The surface of the safety clamps should be always kept clean and lubricated against rusty.

4.Often check the wear condition of the inserts. The inserts should be replaced entirely in time once found it is worn out, be careful do not use old inserts with the one at the same time.

5.When the safety clamps are not in use for a longer time, they should be cleaned and coated with anti-rustic oil and placed in a dry place with good ventilation.
