DC Long Air Gun

is a light weight, hand held compressed air gun utilizing a static eliminatin nozzle. The gun is primarily designed for simultaneously cleaning and neutralizing statically charge materials. Neutralizing makes it easier to blow off particles and prevents re attraction of dust particl to the host material.

JR-302B is used and maintained properly, and offer excellently service for many years.

Operation

Either the JR-401A power supplies transform the regular electricity supply into an A.C. high voltage.

This high voltage is directly coupled to the ionizing pin, whilst the outer nozzle of the air gun is connected to earth. A current flow from the pin to the earthed nozzle produces a cloud of positive and negative ions. When the trigger is pressed, a stream of compressed air will pass through this cloud of ions, this air will become ionized and can then be used to neutralize static charges and remove contamination.

NB: Effective rage 150mm.

Installation

Air the compressed air supply must be clean and dry. Water, debris or oil in the air will damage this product. Our warranty does not cover this misuse.The air pressure should be reduced to the minimum required to do the job. Excess air use is wasteful and dilutes the ionization and increases the noise level unnecessarily. The JR-302B comes with a quick release air connector, simply connect it to a standard 8mm air hose.

High Voltage

JR-302B Ionizing air gun is designed to work with JR-401A power supply at 4.6kv A.C output. Care

must be taken not to connect to a voltage other than the 4.6kv specified, otherwise permanent damage

to the product may occur.

NB: Do not operate in flammable or explosive atmospheres.

Please ensure that the H.V. cable securing gland is firmly tightened- This insures a good earth connection. Failure to fit securely will prevent ionization and may result in the pistol becoming live, which can cause operating shocks- whilst harmless this experience can be unpleasant.
